20s and 30s

small groups during the week

So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
Colossians 2:6-7

We run small group fellowship for 20s-30s including postgraduates, with the aim of rooting ourselves in Christ. We call these groups Roots.

We meet on Wednesday evenings at St Ebbe’s church during school terms at 7pm: we have a meal together, study the Bible and pray.

Roots groups join the wider church family for the monthly 'Central Prayer Meeting' and once a month, as part of our main programme, we actively encourage our table groups to be accessible to their non Christian friends as they mix and mingle with each other socially.

Roots is a great place to meet and get to know others. Our aim is that together, we will both grow in our knowledge and love of Jesus Christ, and encourage one another as we seek to live for his glory. Every year we spend a weekend away together - do look out for more information very soon!
A large number of Roots members would count the 7pm congregation as their home.
