Thursday evenings 7.30-9.30pm (0th week - 8th week)
St Ebbe's is a big church and getting to know people well is tricky - that's why we have Focus. We meet together on Thursday evenings to eat together, to look at the Bible, to pray and to hang out. It's a chance to get to know a small group of guys or girls really well - and, as a student community, to encourage one another to be growing together.
If you’re an International student, you are very welcome at Focus. However, you might like to join iFocus which happens on a Monday evening and is mainly attended by international students, allowing for a time geared more towards the challenges of being an international student studying in Oxford.
Focus in Hilary Term 2017:
Focus will be meeting at Wycliffe Hall (Banbury Road, see map here) every Thursday from 12th January to 9th March during Hilary Term. The timings remain the same (7:30pm-9:30pm) and there will be someone on the door when you arrive to let you in. If you want food (which will be served from 7:30pm-8:00pm), you will need to let us know the week before, either by telling us at Focus or by emailing Jonny Payne.
We will be studying Uncovering the Life of Jesus this term, which will be an exciting way of getting to know the good news of Christ better, both for our own encouragement and for reaching out to others.
