Using your summer

opportunities to serve during the vacation

The summer is an excellent opportunity to serve the Lord Jesus. We reckon that a great way to put your summer to use is to go on a summer camp or a short-term mission.

If you are already serving this summer then let us know by filling out this form.

Camps

Camps are a great way to learn to serve like Jesus, to be taught really well from the Bible, and to have brilliant time too. There are a number of camps that happen throughout the summer that we support and where you can go and be part of the student team. Usually that means helping to serve a bunch of 14-18 year olds by doing a bit of cooking, cleaning, washing up, and occasionally running some games, so that they can have a great holiday and freeing up the leaders to teach the Bible and to build up relationships with the kids. They’ll be lots of opportunities to be taught the Bible yourself as well, and maybe even to lead some Bible studies of your own.

Some camps that students at Ebbe’s help with:

·         Barnstable 2 (4-11 Aug)

·         Sparkford 3 (15-23 Aug)

·         Lymington Rushmore

o   Jnr / Snr A (13-21 Jul)

o   Jnr / Snr B (22-30 Jul)

o   Jnr / Snr C (31 Jul – 8 Aug)

o   Senior D  (9-17 Aug)

·         St Ebbe’s holiday bible club (27-31 Aug)

If you’d like some more info, do email Sharon.
